This is my 2D Shooter project for the first course of Game Design and Development with Unity, from Michigan State University on Coursera.

Modifications:

  1. Created four levels with increasing difficulty.
  2. Added drifting asteroids to the enviroment, and colliding asteroids as enviromental hazards.
  3. Added lighting and post-processing.
  4. Added lives to the in-game GUI.
  5. Added a restart button upon losing a level.
  6. Created a "space whirpool" effect to the last level.
